ANGER SUPPORT

Looking for Anger support services? the lowdown are here to help! We provide free counselling and advice to young people throughout Northamptonshire including: Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Oundle, Rushden and Towcester.

Anger can build up for any number of reasons, such as family or relationship problems, money problems, stress, bullying, or bereavement. Sometimes we can feel angry without knowing why.

Anger is a normal human emotion which physically prepares the body to defend itself by increasing adrenaline and raising blood pressure. If you are concerned about your own anger, or the effects of someone else’s anger on you, if you don’t feel in control when you’re angry, or if anger is causing problems in your life or relationships, there is plenty of support available. We’ve helped lots of other young people living with anger.

You’re not alone

1 in 10 people say they have trouble controlling their own anger. 1 in 5 people have ended a relationship with someone because of incidents of anger. There are lots of stresses and strains in our lives, and when we’re under pressure, sometimes we feel like we’re going to explode. You can learn to understand and control your own feelings of anger and how to cope with the anger of others which is having an effect on you.

We can help

We helped 337 people like you deal with ANGER last year. We understand that when anger is out of control, it can be hugely destructive. We are here to listen and support you as you learn how to cope with the anger of those around you or to control your own anger.
