HEALTH SUPPORT

Looking for Health support services? the lowdown are here to help! We provide free counselling & advice to young people across Northamptonshire including: Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Oundle, Rushden and Towcester.

Health is all about your overall physical, mental, sexual and emotional well-being. Poor health, in one or a number of these areas, can lead to changes in your lifestyle, affecting things like your education or work, family, relationships, social activities, confidence, and happiness.

If you can identify where your health is suffering, you’ll find specific information on other pages of this site (e.g. Sexual Health and Depression). If you’re not quite sure what the problem is, there’s plenty of information available to help you to work out where to start and how to improve your health and well-being.

You’re not alone

Increasing pressures in everyday life can have a knock-on effect on anyone’s health, so please be assured that you are not alone if you are feeling unwell or concerned about your well-being. If you are unable to speak to your own doctor, or prefer not to, there are other places, organisations and health care providers you can speak to.

We can help

We helped 35 people like you deal with HEALTH issues last year. We have fully trained counsellors who can help support you with your mental health and emotional well-being. However if you are worried, concerned or have questions about your physical health, then it’s always best to see a GP, a nurse or another health care professional for help and advice. We can help signpost you to the right place.
