Looking for Mental Health support services? the lowdown are here to help! We provide free counselling and advice to young people aged 12-25yrs across Northampton.

It can be really worrying when you or someone you know is going through a difficult time and you suspect there may be mental health issues involved. It can be scary to admit there’s a problem because you may be worried about how people may feel and react to you.

Common mental health issues include depression, loneliness, stress and suicidal feelings, but there are lots of different mental health conditions and reasons for them happening to you or someone you know. Seeking help and guidance is always the best first step because it’s much easier to work through something when you understand it.

You’re not alone

Mental health issues are very common and nothing to be ashamed of. They take many forms and are triggered by different events. Both children and young adults are as vulnerable as anyone else. We won’t judge you. We all have times when we can cope with difficult things, and other times when we don’t feel able to cope. You’re not to blame and you’re not alone.

We can help

We helped 151 people like you deal with MENTAL HEALTH issues last year. We understand it can be difficult to ask for help, but we’re here to listen and support you. If you’re worried you or someone you know may have a mental health issue, or if you want to know how best to get a diagnosis and specialist help, please contact us.
