Are you a Level 4 Advanced Diploma or MSc Counselling student who can work with our full age range of 11-25 year olds? Are you looking for a counselling placement opportunity offering discounted group supervision?
the lowdown provide a blended counselling service (remote & face-to-face) for 11-25 year olds.

- COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM – download below
- 10 MINUTE RECORDING – preferably a video role-play with the applicant as a counsellor in session with a ‘client’ acted by a volunteer. Applicant will demonstrate: brief contracting, counselling skills and appropriately closing a session
- A SHORT, WRITTEN REFLECTIVE STATEMENT UPON THE ROLE-PLAY (between 250-500 words)
You will need a ‘Fit to Practise’ certificate (for remote and face-to-face practice) from your training provider and an enhanced DBS check for both young people and adults. This can be applied for through the lowdown if needed.
