Donate to The Lowdown – Help young people thrive

Donating to The Lowdown means giving young people in Northampton the chance to access free, confidential, and life-changing mental health and wellbeing support when they need it most. With the demand for our services increasing, your donation helps us meet growing demand and ensures no young person faces mental health challenges alone.

How do I donate?

If you already have JustGiving account, simply log in and make a donation to The Lowdown. If you don’t have an account set up, you will still be able to pay with either your Credit or Debit card by following the link https://www.justgiving.com/thelowdown . You can also create a Standing Order and give a regular monthly donation if you wish!

Are you a UK tax payer?

If you are a UK taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by almost a third under the Gift Aid scheme – at no extra cost to you. If you would like to do this for your online donation please just tick the box when asked to join the Gift Aid scheme during checkout.

Ways to donate

You can donate any amount you want, but here are some ideas of what popular donation amounts could be used for:

Donate £50

to provide a life changing or life saving counselling session for a young person in need.

Helping
Donate £20

to help us provide activities for young people e.g. picnics, theatre visits and trips to pride events.

Donate £10

to help us provide materials for our youth groups and youth sessions.

Don’t forget to tick Gift Aid if applicable & please donate monthly if you are able!

You could also send us a cheque (payable to the lowdownby post or complete one of our donation forms (below). If you pay UK tax, please don’t forget to also fill in the Gift Aid section of the form at the same time. Once completed, please return the form to us at the lowdown OR you can send directly to your own bank if preferred.
