Purpose of Role:
To support the development of and deliver the RE:Start service to young people in the West of the county.

Contract: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £28,933.11
Hours: Full Time – 37hrs per week. Flexible Working will be required to fulfil the role.
Location: Based at The Lowdown in Northampton but covering the whole of the West of Northants.

Mental Health Support Worker
Purpose of Role:
To provide mental health support to youth group members. To create a safe and inclusive space, offering a youth group that is open to all. To engage, inspire and empower young people to work collaboratively with workers to create sessions that are youth-led; promoting participation, positive interactions, relationship building, skill development and overall, and most importantly, feel safe to be themselves and have fun.
Contract: Sessional
Salary: TBC – dependent on quals/experience, self-employed applicants welcome – Sessional contract
Hours: 4 hours per week in the evening (Thursdays) (plus some special events and training)
Location: The Lowdown, Northampton Town Centre NN1 1PP

Are you a Level 4 Advanced Diploma or MSc Counselling student looking for a placement opportunity with meaningful impact?
We offer counselling placements with free group and 1-1 supervision for students who can work with our full client age range of 11–25 years of age.
Please note:
We cannot accept placement applications from students who require a set percentage of adult client hours to complete their course requirements. We do not have the adult client base to support this. All placement hours must be completed across our existing 11–25 age group, which may not include adult clients at all.
We provide a blended counselling service (remote & face-to-face), and placements will support young people across this full range.
