We understand that it may feel difficult to find support. Many young people feel isolated and disconnected from social circles or even families and we want you to know that you are not alone.
The Lowdown’s LGBTQ+ Support Service runs youth groups and events for young people up to the age of 25.
We offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to attend as and when you like. It is a space designed so that you are able to explore who you are, to socialise, meet new friends, talk though difficulties with others who understand, whilst also having fun and joining in with activities.

We understand that it can be incredibly nerve wracking to take that first step, so your parents are welcome to bring you along and drop you off if you wish. Alternatively, you could bring a friend who is supporting you.
Our group leaders will look after you, ensure you feel welcome, talk you through everything you need to know and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
